The top photographs were taken early in the run in a vacant
lot next to the Mamou Piggly Wiggly. The other pictures show the Mardi Gras heading toward
the
countryside. As the small
picture at right demonstrates,
the Mardi Gras will go
anywhere to catch that chicken,
even diving into a pond.
