Here are two pictures of the
Tee-Mamou Mardi Gras entering Iota on their wagon. Beneath those photos are shots of the
Tee-Mamou women, who participate in the Iota Mardi Gras festivities even though their
courir is actually held on Saturday. The
bottom picture is another shot of the children dancing on the stage. Notice the hand
holding the whip at left. After their performance on stage, the children join the adult
Mardi Gras riding into town on a trailer.
