Here are a few more photos of the Basile Mardi Gras, shown after they arrived in town in the afternoon and joined the street dance. Notice the Mardi Gras continued to beg, making their appeal with a net. Meanwhile, at the Pig Barn, Peter LeBlanc and other cooks were making gumbo. Awards were presented to the Mardi Gras later that evening, followed by a dance.
