One measure of the energy and excitement generated by Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys is the activity on the dance floor Sunday night of the 2006 Dewey Balfa Cajun and Creole Heritage Week. After you check out Steve on accordion, David Greely on fiddle, and Sam Broussard on guitar, scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the dancers.

Joel Savoy joined David Greely for some twin fiddling.

In back of David Greely, Steve Riley, and Sam Broussard are Brazos Huval on bass
and Kevin Dugas on drums.

The crowd joined along to help sing "Bon Rêve."
